This past weekend marked a milestone for my little Betty that had me both excited and anxious. She has been with me for a decade and always right by my side, between my feet, on my lap, in my face. I even carry her around like a baby, and she molds right into me.
Let’s talk pizza. As much as I like to cozy up into a booth or sit outside with Betty so she can enjoy going out, I also love making pies at home. Either way, she always scores the pizza bones. Scooch in with Betty and me as we talk pizza.
When I first moved to Providence years ago, I noticed a community garden that took up at least two city blocks just two miles down the street. There’s quite a bounty behind that little wooden fence—rows and rows of raised garden beds.
